Daniel H. Lynam, MPAS, PA-C
PA Lynam graduated from the University of Nebraska with his PA degree in 1995. He has experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Card, and Family Practice. He has been part of the faculty of Gardner-Webb University PA Program and Mid Atlantic Christian University as a biology professor. PA Lynam served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 21 years as a Hospital Corpsman, Health Services Technician and Physician Assistant. He retired from the Coast Guard in May of 2000 and went on to complete his Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Jessica Phelps, FNP-C
Jessica recently graduated with her Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner from George Washington University in 2022. During her rotations she worked in Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Mental Health, and Telemedicine. She has been a Registered Nurse for 11 years and received her BSN Degree from East Carolina University. During her 11 years as a Nurse she worked in the Emergency Department, PACU, Urgent Care, Management, and Training. She has also been an instructor for the Nurse Aid program at COA for 5 years. In her free time she enjoys racing, last year she won her series championship. She also enjoys wakeboarding and wake surfing on her boat in the summer.
Kendra Smith
Kendra moved to the Elizabeth City area in 2002. Here she found a home to raise her son and her passion for the great outdoors. She is trained in phlebotomy and patient care. Kendra comes to Towne Center Health with over twenty years of medical experience.
Steven P. Manuli, MD
Steven P. Manuli owns and operates Manuli internal medicine in Elizabeth City, NC. He received his Doctorate of Medicine through NC School of Medicine in Chapel Hill and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He is a well respected medical provider in this community. He loves to fish and enjoys assistant coaching of local high school football team. He and PA Lynam have been colleagues for many years which allows for open communication regarding all aspects of patient care at Towne Center Health and we are fortunate to have Dr. Manuli assume the position as supervising physician/Medical Director for PA Lynam. Though Dr. Manuli does not see patients in this practice he is in regular contact with PA Lynam and all care given is under his delegated authority as per the NC Medical Board requirements.
